What you did not know, find out!! Sweet potato is one of the most nutritious foods in the world. Most especially when you want to take advantage of its health and beauty benefits, its perfect for your skin! Sweet potato contains Omega 3, fatty acids, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, vitamins A, B, C, E and K and zinc.

I bet you want to tap into nature’s gift and derive its beauty benefits; here are some ways you can do this:

Having problems with oily skin? Especially around the T zone area? Boil sweet potatoes and mash them, you can add honey and spread all over your face and neck. Add 2 full spoons of lemon allow for 20 minutes then rinse with cold water.

Natural Toner: boil sweet potato and keep the water, allow it to cool. This natural toner will help to rivet impurities, deep cleansing your pores and calming aggravated skin.

Facial Scrub: take boiled sweet potatoes, a spoonful of oat, a spoonful of natural yoghurt. Mix them to form a thick paste and then scrub your face gently. Wash your face with cold water and then moisturise.
